Unique Scientific and Technical Infrastructures Map (ICTS)


MARHIS (Maritime Aggregated Research Hydraulic Infrastructures ) is a distributed ICTS that aims to improve Spanish competitiveness and efficiency in the field of maritime hydraulic engineering. It aims to increase the efficiency and capability of Spanish numerical, experimental and field facilities for applications to coastal, harbour and offshore engineering. The facilities that forms part of this distributed ICTS are managed by the Maritime Engineering Laboratory that belongs  to Universidad Politécnica de Cataluña, El Pardo Hydrodynamics Experimentation Centre that belongs to INTA, PLOCAN Consortium and Biscay Marime Energy Platform (BIMEP).

Test bench of the Canary Oceanic Platform (PLOCAN) managed by PLOCAN Consortium (co-financed in equal parts by the General State Administration and the Government of the Canary Islands Regional Government), located in the open sea in Telde municipality (North-West of Gran Canaria Island) with 23 km2 reserved area for scientific and technical experimentation.
