The purpose of these grants is to encourage the recruitment of technical support personnel in R&D Centres; they are intended to support the management of equipment, facilities and other R&D&i infrastructure for increasing and improving the performance of scientific-technological infrastructures.
The qualification required is that of a graduate, engineer, architect, graduate, diploma, technical engineer, technical architect or higher technician within the framework of professional training of the educational system.
Applications for participation are presented by the R&D centres and include the candidate technicians. The screening is based on a process of competitive concurrence, the criteria for evaluating the applications being as follows: 1) the impact of the action on the degree of R&D&i activity of the infrastructure and 2) the curricular merits of the candidate and the latter’s suitability for the tasks to be carried out according to professional experience and training. The scales that apply to these criteria are from 0 to 80 and from 0 to 20 points, respectively.
