The Juan de la Cierva-training aids aim to encourage the recruiting of young doctors for a period of two years in order to complete their postdoctoral research training in Spanish R&D centres other than those in which they completed their pre-doctoral education.
Candidates must meet the requirements of being doctors and having obtained a doctorate between January 1, 2017 and December 31, 2018 for the general access call and for FJC-INIA-CCAA researches, and between January 1, 2016 and December 31, 2018 for people with disabilities equal to or greater than 33 percent unless they prove a cause of interruption in accordance with the call.
The participation requests are presented by the R&D centres, including the candidate researchers for the purpose of their incorporation into the research teams. The screening is based on a competitive competition process of the candidates, on the basis of their curricular merits, and on the scientific-technical record of the research team which they wish to join, with special relevance given to the merits bearing on the tutor researcher.
