General description

The purpose of this call for proposals is to grant Aid, for a period of two years, to improve the training and employability of technical and R&D management personnel through their employment contracts in universities, public sector research bodies and organisations, while at the same time reinforcing research activities and the performance of infrastructures, scientific-technical equipment, laboratories or any other premise or service of a general nature or of common use by the organisation, of a scientific-technical nature, or of research management.

The personnel hired must hold one of the following qualifications:

1st University degrees: graduate, engineer, architect, graduate, diploma, technical engineer and technical architect.

2nd Degrees within the framework of the professional training of the educational system: technician or higher technician

In order to achieve the targets pursued through this action, it shall be the responsibility of the applicant institutions to draw up a proposal for an activity and a training plan, and these institutions, if they are beneficiaries of the aid, shall carry out the processes of selection and recruitment of staff.

It is an action framed within the measures to promote employability and occupation of the National Plan for the Implementation of the Youth Guarantee and the National System of Youth Guarantee.

Specific goals and activities financed
The aid, the maximum annual amount of which varies according to the qualifications of the persons hired, is used to co-finance the salary and the employer's Social Security contribution of those hired during each of the years considered independently. The R&D centre must assume the rest of the hiring cost as well as any salary increase corresponding to subsequent years of the hired personnel increases in the employer's Social Security quota or any other incident.
