The purpose of these grants is to encourage the recruitment of technical support personnel in R&D Centres; they are intended to support the management of equipment, facilities and other R&D&i infrastructures for increasing and improving the performance of scientific-technological infrastructures.
The qualification required is that of a graduate, engineer, architect, technical engineer, technical architect or higher technician within the framework of professional training of the educational system.
Applications for participation are presented by the R&D centres and include the candidate technicians. The screening is based on a process of competitive concurrence, the criteria for evaluating the applications being as follows: 1) the impact of the action on the degree of R&D&i activity of the infrastructure; 2) the curricular merits of the candidate and 3) Relevance of R&D service activities provided by the entity. The scales that apply to these criteria are from 0 to 50, 0 to 30 and from 0 to 20 points, respectively.
