The Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities is committed to making its website accessible in accordance with Royal Decree 1112/2018, of 7 September, on Accessibility of Websites and Applications for Public Sector Mobile Devices, which transposes Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council, of 26 October 2016.

The request must be addressed to the Information Technologies Division of the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities and the facts, reasons and request must be clearly specified to establish that this is a reasonable and legitimate request.

Procedure of application

If, once a request for accessible information or complaint has been made, it has been rejected, does not agree with the decision taken, or the response does not meet the requirements of Article 12.5, the person concerned may initiate a complaint. Likewise, a claim may be initiated in the event that the period of twenty working days has elapsed without having obtained a response.

This can be done by presenting a Generic Instance in a Registry Assistance Office (OAMR) or in the General Electronic Registry (REG), as well as in the other options included in Law 39/ 2015, of 1 October, of the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations. The complaint must be addressed to the General Subdirectorate of Personnel and Inspection of Services of the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities.

This website applies the requirements of the Standard UNE-EN 301549:2019 on accessibility requirements for ICT products and services, considering the exceptions of the R.D. 1112/2018.

The last accessibility review was conducted in June 2021.

The website is optimized for Microsoft Internet Explorer 8.0 or higher browsers and the latest current versions of FireFox, Safari, Opera and Google Chrome. The minimum recommended web resolution is 1280x1024.

The website is designed for adaptive viewing, allowing it to be viewed optimally on tablet and mobile devices. On these devices it is optimized for viewing in the latest current versions of Chrome for mobile, Firefox for mobile, Safari mobile, Opera Mini and native Android browser.
