The domain www.ciencia.gob.es is owned by the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities.

The website and all the domains and directories included under it (hereinafter jointly referred to as Portal), as well as the services or contents that may be obtained through it, are subject to the terms that are detailed in this legal notice, without prejudice to the fact that access to any of these services or contents may require the acceptance of additional general conditions.

The Portal fulfils the function of general information and attention to the citizen in the terms of the provisions of article 4 of Royal Decree 208/1996, of 9 February, which regulates the Services of Administrative Information and Attention to the Citizen, being merely informative and without being in any case derivable from them any binding legal effect.

The Portal is translated into several official Spanish languages in their respective territories, in accordance with the provisions of Article 3 of the Spanish Constitution of 1978 and its Statutes of Autonomy. The languages are Catalan, Basque, Galician and Valencian. It is also translated into a foreign language (English).

The QEDU mobile application is subject, in addition to the terms detailed in this legal notice, to the specific terms described below.

The design of the QEDU mobile application and its source code, logos, trademarks and other distinctive signs that appear in it belong to the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities and the Ministry of Digital Transformation and Public Function, and are protected by the corresponding intellectual and industrial property rights.

The data appearing in the QEDU mobile application has been entered following strict quality control procedures; however, errors may occur so that the data offered on this site may in some case not be correct. Erroneous data will be corrected as soon as they are detected, however, it cannot be guaranteed that the content is error-free. The user expressly agrees to be aware of this circumstance.

The Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities may make, at any time and without prior notice, modifications and updates on the information contained in the QEDU mobile application, its configuration and presentation, as well as temporarily suspend access to it when reasons of an objective nature advise it.

The use of the information contained in the QEDU mobile application will be made by the users or agents of the reuse under their own account and risk, being exclusively up to them to respond to third parties for damages that may arise from it.

The information contained in the QEDU mobile application comes mainly from the Integrated University Information System (SIIU). The reuse of this information may be for commercial or non-commercial purposes and will always be carried out under the following general conditions:

  • It is expressly prohibited to denaturalize the meaning of the information.
  • The source of the information to be reused should be cited. This appointment may be made as follows:
    • Source: Data catalog of the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities (ciencia.gob.es), if no data processing is carried out.
    • Own elaboration with data extracted from the data catalog of the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities (ciencia.gob.es), in case the data is processed.
  • The date of the last update of the information to be reused should be mentioned, provided that it was included in the original.
