Privacy and data protection policy
The Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities acts as responsible for the processing of personal data relating to the users of its web portals, electronic sites and services. The data provided by the interested party will be used, exclusively, for the purposes foreseen in each procedure or action.
The current regulations in the field of personal data protection are composed of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 (RGPD) and Organic Law 3/2018, of 5 December, on the Protection of Personal Data and Guarantee of Digital Rights (LOPDGDD). In accordance with the aforementioned regulations, the Ministry will guarantee the confidentiality of the personal data processed. To this end, it will adopt the necessary technical and organizational measures.
Collection of personal data
In order to exercise the competences assigned to it and in order to provide services to citizens, the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities may collect and process personal data.
The Ministry will inform you of the personal data that it collects directly from the interested party at the time of its collection. The information provided will specify the purpose, the legal basis of the treatment, the rights that the interested party can exercise, the identity of the body responsible for the treatment and the contact details of the data protection delegate. You can consult additional information in the Registry of Processing Activities (RAT), which is the document that collects all personal data processing activities carried out by the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities.

Recipients, transfer and transfer of data
In most cases, the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities does not communicate the processed personal data to other recipients. In the cases in which they are communicated to third parties, we always proceed in application of the current regulations, informing the interested party when appropriate and reflecting it in the corresponding treatment of the Registry of Treatment of Activities.
Period of data retention
The data will be kept for the time necessary to guarantee the provision of the services offered by the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities.
Exercise of rights
The user may exercise at any time the rights recognized in relation to the data processed by the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities. To do this, you can submit at the Electronic Headquarters of the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities a request for Access, Limitation, Rectification, Portability, Suppression, or Opposition, in accordance with current regulations.

You can also contact the supervisory authority, in this case Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es), and lodge a complaint if you consider that your personal data are not processed in accordance with current regulations.
Complaints and suggestions
In order to collect and process both expressions of dissatisfaction with the services provided and initiatives to improve their quality, you may submit a complaint or suggestion at the Electronic Office of the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities.

Cookie Policy
The Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities uses a web analytics service consisting of temporarily installing cookies for the sole and exclusive purpose of preparing statistical reports. Cookies are files created in the user’s browser to record their activity on the website. A cookie does not identify a person, but a computer-browser-user combination, has a limited time limit and is in no case used to collect personal information.

It only collects data on the type of device used (screen resolution, operating system and version, model and provider) and navigation between screens (its content is not recorded). This information is anonymous and will be used to improve the functioning of the mobile application.
