Proyecto de orden ministerial por la que se aprueban las bases reguladoras de la concesión de ayudas del programa de movilidad de estudiantes universitarios «Luisa de Medrano»

The elaboration of this order responds to the need to provide the Spanish university system with a stable state framework that regulates and finances the aid of the SICUE mobility program. Although the programme has existed for years as a mechanism for academic exchange between Spanish universities, its operation lacks a homogeneous system of financial support and depends to a large extent on the resources available to families. This absence of specific state regulation has led to inequalities in access and has limited the real scope of national mobility, despite its importance for the cohesion of the system.
