Consulta pública sobre la propuesta de Directiva del Parlamento Europeo y del Consejo por la que se modifica la Directiva 2005/36/CE, relativa al reconocimiento de cualificaciones profesionales

The European Commission has presented a proposal for a directive amending Directive 2005/36/EC on the recognition of professional qualifications as regards the digitisation of recognition procedures and the recognition of professional qualifications issued outside the European Union.

The initiative aims to modernise and simplify recognition procedures, improve the information available to applicants and strengthen cooperation between the competent authorities of the Member States, promoting professional mobility in the internal market.

The main objectives of the proposal are:

• Improving the availability, quality and reliability of information on professional qualification recognition requirements and procedures.
• Simplify and streamline recognition procedures, reducing administrative burdens.
• Strengthening administrative cooperation between the competent authorities of the Member States.
• Promote the use of interoperable digital tools that allow for more efficient, transparent and accessible processing.

Within the framework of the provisions of the Agreement of the Council of Ministers of 23 February 2021, for the improvement of the process of negotiation and incorporation of European Union law into the internal legal order, and taking as reference the provisions of article 26.2 of Law 50/1997, of 27 November, of the Government, a period of public consultation is opened to obtain the contributions of the subjects and organizations potentially affected by the normative proposal.

The deadline for submission of contributions will be 15 calendar days from the day following the publication of this consultation on the website of the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities.

The contributions must be submitted within the established deadline and identify the person or entity that formulates them.
