R&D&I Policy Network (RedIDI)

The R&D&I Policy Network (IDI Network) emerged at the end of 2010 as an essential element of multi-level strategic coordination between the Autonomous Communities (CC. AA.) and the General State Administration (AGE).

Its main objective is to coordinate the different agents of the Spanish R&D&I system in order to optimize the design, implementation and development of public support frameworks for R&D&I, thus favoring the mobilization of resources and access to funding from European funds and, in particular, the European Regional Development Fund ERDF.

The IDI Network is co-chaired by the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities (Directorate-General for Research Planning) and the Ministry of Finance (Directorate-General for European Funds) and integrates into its structure the most relevant actors in the Spanish R&D&I policy ecosystem, with representation at European, state and regional levels.
