The reform of the Law of Science guarantees for the first time a financing of public and growing R+D+I to reach the objective of 1.25% of public investment in 2030, which guarantees a medium-term horizon of financing of public agents of the Spanish System of Science, Technology and Innovation, with effects that will last in the system.
In addition, this stable funding will allow Spain to converge with Europe, fulfilling the funding objective proposed in the EU Pact for Science and Innovation and the Pact for Science and Innovation signed in Spain by more than 80 scientific, academic, business and trade union organizations.
