The Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism has general lines of aid for industry and that, therefore, can play a facilitating role in the aerospace sector.
The Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism lines of aid that apply to the aerospace industry are:
- Line of aid for R&D&I projects in the field of connected industry 4.0 (ACTIVA_Funding).
- Line of aid for innovation and sustainability plans in the manufacturing industry.
- Innovative business groupings.
- Fund to Support Productive Industrial Investment.
Execution and results
- Activa funding: Two calls were issued in 2022 and 2023. Proposals submitted in 2023 are under evaluation.
- Innovation and sustainability plans in the manufacturing industry: There have been 3 calls: in 2021, 2022 and 2023. Proposals submitted in 2023 are under evaluation.
- Innovative business groupings: There have been 3 calls, one within the framework of the Transformation and Resilience Plan in 2021 and, within the same framework, in 2022 and 2023. Proposals submitted in 2023 are under evaluation.
- Fund to support productive industrial investment: The Fund to Support of Productive Industrial Investment (FAIIP), promoted by the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism and managed by public company SEPIDES, intends to provide reimbursable financial support to promote industrial investments that contribute to favouring the development, competitiveness and industrial capacities of the industrial sector in our country. With an allocation of 1.8 billion euros for investment, the FAIIP finances private commercial companies and cooperatives that develop or are going to develop a productive industrial activity and industrial services, regardless of size, supporting actions aimed at environmental sustainability. The FAIIP has an open call until funds are used up.
