The Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism has support lines that are general for the industry and can therefore play a facilitating role in the aerospace sector.
The aid lines of the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism that have application to the field of the aerospace industry are:
- Línea de ayuda a proyectos de I+D+I en el ámbito de la industria conectada 4.0 (ACTIVA_Financiación).
- Line of support for innovation and sustainability plans in the field of manufacturing industry (IDi).
- Innovative business groupings.
- Productive Industrial Investment Support Fund (FAIIP).
Execution and results
- Active funding: 2 calls have been made in the years 2022 and 2023. The proposals presented in the year 2023 are in the process of evaluation.
- Innovation and sustainability plans in the manufacturing industry: 3 calls have been made, in the year 2021, 2022 and 2023. The proposals presented in the year 2023 are in the process of evaluation.
- Innovative business groupings: Three calls have been made, one within the framework of the Transformation and Resilience Plan in 2021 and, within the same framework, in 2022 and 2023. The proposals presented in the year 2023 are in the process of evaluation.
- Support Fund for Productive Industrial Investment: The Productive Industrial Investment Support Fund (FAIIP), promoted by the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism and managed by the public company SEPIDES, aims to provide returnable financial support to promote industrial investments that contribute to the development, competitiveness and industrial capacities of the industrial sector in our country. Endowed with 1800 million euros for investment, FAIIP finances private commercial companies and cooperatives that develop or are going to develop a productive industrial activity and industrial services, regardless of size, supporting actions aimed at environmental sustainability. The FAIIP has an open call until the funds are exhausted.
