What is the Plan?

The Microcreds Plan aims to finance the production of microcredentials, as well as scholarships and grants for people in unemployment, low income or social vulnerability, as well as for intermediary activities between the university and the productive sectors.

This Plan has a fund of 50 million euros until June 30, 2026 in order to cover the professional needs that may arise throughout life.

University microcredentials are credentials derived from short training courses (less than 15 ECTS credits); focused on the acquisition of specific knowledge, skills or competences; flexible and adaptable to the diverse needs and limitations of availability of adult students, including the use of the virtual or semi-virtual modality, and with a modular structure whereby each training can make sense independently, and at the same time, accumulate and combine in broader credentials, within the framework of a personalized training itinerary.

To whom is it addressed?

To the adult population, regardless of whether or not they meet the traditional access requirements to access the university, as a first opportunity to access university studies or to meet the training needs of professional staff according to the demands of the labor market.
