Xavier Querol. National Research Award Alejandro Malaspina

Award-winning Xavier Querol Carceller, CSIC Research Professor at the CSIC Institute of Environmental Diagnostics and Water Studies (IDAEA). For his leadership in the development of technologies, methodologies, models and scientific contributions to understand the importance of aerosols and their interaction with pollutants and human health, translating the scientific knowledge he has developed into policies that ensure public health and the health of ecosystems. Along with these merits, the jury has highlighted its significant ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams and the remarkable application that its scientific production has had at an international level.
