Daniel Innerarity Grau has been recognized for his contribution to the adaptation of the normative principles of democracy to current societies, which means a better knowledge about politics and a particularly relevant contribution to human coexistence, through his theory of complex democracy.
Innerarity is an Ikerbasque researcher at the University of the Basque Country and holder of the Chair in Artificial Intelligence and Democracy at the European Institute in Florence.
