Íñigo Javier Losada Rodríguez. National Research Award "Leonardo Torres Quevedo" in the area of engineering and architecture

Íñigo Javier Losada Rodríguez has been recognized with the National Research Award Leonardo Torres Quevedo in the area of Engineering and Architecture for his international leadership in ocean engineering and his pioneering contributions to the development of tools that are laying the foundations for a sustainable use of the resources of the ocean and coastal areas.

Losada is Professor of Hydraulic Engineering at the University of Cantabria, Professor and Research Director at the Institute of Environmental Hydraulics and Scientific Director of the ‘Cantabria Coastal and Ocean Basin’ (CCOB).
