Diego Córdoba Gazolaz, National Research Award ‘Julio Rey Pastor’ in the area of Mathematics and Information and Communication Technologies

Diego Córdoba Gazolaz has been recognized for the originality and impact of his research and methods introduced in the area of fluid mechanics equations, as well as his extraordinary training work. In particular, his pioneering studies on the formation of singularities in incompressible fluids have opened the way for a wide variety of industrial applications.

Córdoba is Research Professor at the CSIC and Scientific Director SO of the ICMat.
