Felipe Criado Boado, National Research Award ‘Ramón Menéndez Pidal’ in the area of Humanities

Felipe Criado Boado has been recognized for his pioneering and innovative contributions to archaeology that have contributed to our understanding of how human societies have interacted and modified the landscape over the course of history. They also highlight their recent studies that examine how the world we build and inhabit modifies our minds and the way we process information. His unique lines of research led to paradigmatic changes in archaeology and the incorporation of new concepts and applications.

Criado is Director of the Institute of Heritage Sciences of the CSIC.
