The main promoters of projects are universities (33.1%), public research centres (24.5%), associations and foundations (21.5%), public administrations (11.3%), private companies (7.2%) and other smaller groups.
European Citizen Science ECS Platform
The European Citizen Science Platform - ECS (citizenscience.eu), coordinated by the European Citizen Science Association - ECSA (ecsa.ngo), is a European project that seeks to transform the way citizen science projects are conceived and developed. This platform, in which the Ibercivis Foundation and the Higher Council for Scientific Research (CSIC) participate, is formed by a consortium of 14 European states. Its objective is to become a meeting point for professionals, researchers, policy makers and society in general. The platform allows you to search for citizen science projects, consult resources and participate in community discussion forums.
