Professor of Electronic Technology at the Higher Technical School of Industrial Engineers of the UPM (ETSII-UPM), where she has developed her entire teaching and research career.
Professional experience
- She has been director of the Center for Industrial Electronics, deputy director of Research and International Relations of the ETSII-UPM and, more recently, director of the Department of Automation, Electrical Engineering and Electronics and Industrial Informatics.
- Since 2003 she has been the representative of the UPM in the TIME network (Top Industrial Managers in Europe) and member of its management committee. He is also a member of the Advisory Committee of UniBasq, the Institutional Quality Assessment Committee of ACSUCyL and the Advisory Committee of the Lessons and Institutions Assessment Division of ANECA.
- It regularly participates in evaluation panels of national projects and EU framework programmes.

PhD in Industrial Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Madrid (1996).
Industrial engineer by the UPM (1990).

Her research activity has been focused on embedded systems design, reconfigurable hardware systems and electronics for the Internet of Things.
He has participated in some 60 national and European research, development and innovation projects.
