Undersecretary of Science, Innovation and Universities

It performs the functions of ordinary representation of the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities, direction of common services and exercise of the competences corresponding to those services, institutional relations, legal advice to the minister, and senior personnel leadership, among other functions, in accordance with Law 40/2015, of October 1, on the Legal Regime of the Public Sector and Royal Decree 865/2018, of July 13, which develops the basic organic structure of the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities.

He has more than 30 years of experience in local administration, where he has developed most of his professional career.

Professional experience

• He has been Head of Economic Policies, Innovation and Tourism of the City of Gandia, from where he has directed the smart city project, the office of European projects and the promotion of the urban agenda.
• He was coordinator of the Economic Promotion area of the city of Gandia
• He has been Technical Director of the Territorial Agreement for the economic development of the Safor Region
• Gerente del Consorcio Pacto territorial por el Empleo de la Comarca de la Safor
• Director of the Center for Integral Business Services (CSI-COM)
• Director of European Projects of the City of Gandia
• Senior technician of CEMEF in the City of Burjassot
