The State Research Agency is an instrument for publicly funded R&D&I activities, integrated into State Plans for Scientific and Technical Research and Innovation. Its purpose is to promote scientific and technical research in all areas of knowledge through the efficient allocation of public resources, the promotion of collaboration between the agents of the R&D&I system and the support for the generation of knowledge with a high scientific and technical, economic and social impact, including those oriented to the challenges of society and the monitoring of funded activities.
