Centre for Technological Development and Innovation (CDTI)

The Centre for Technological Development and Innovation (CDTI) is a Public Business Entity, under the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities, which promotes innovation and technological development in Spanish companies. It is the institution that channels requests for funding and support for R&D&I projects from Spanish companies at national and international levels. In addition, it carries out the following activities:

  • Technical-economic assessment and granting of public aid for innovation.
  • Management and promotion of Spanish participation in international technological cooperation programmes.
  • Promotion of the international transfer of business technology.
  • Support for the creation and consolidation of technology-based companies.
