Fundación Española para la Ciencia y Tecnología, F.S.P. (FECYT) is a public foundation under the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities.
FECYT works to strengthen the link between science and society through actions that promote open and inclusive science, scientific culture and education, responding to the needs and challenges of the Spanish System of Science, Technology and Innovation.
The objectives of the FECYT are aimed at achieving two key results. First, to increase the public value of science and innovation through outreach, communication and participation in science. Second, promote open science in line with the guidelines of the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities. The ultimate goal of FECYT is to achieve a society committed to science.
