The PERTE Commissioner for Avant-Garde Health performs the following functions:
- Promote, promote and disseminate policies and plans to improve the health of the Spanish population through science, innovation, technological development and digitalization, in the field of PERTE for cutting-edge health.
- Propose and collaborate in the follow-up of support and advisory measures to entities, promote public-private collaboration to guarantee access and implementation of projects linked to the PERTE for cutting-edge health, as well as stimulate the investment of private funds.
- To collaborate and promote the international dialogue of Spain in the field of strategies, actions and national and international initiatives linked to PERTE for cutting-edge health, especially in the fields of Personalized Medicine, Advanced Therapies, Data Science in Health and Digitalization.
- Participate in the work of the commissions, working groups and collegiate bodies linked to the PERTE for avant-garde health.
- Periodically inform the ministries responsible for the PERTE about the development and result of the execution of the projects.
- Coordinate the actions in relation to cutting-edge health that are necessary to promote the correct execution of the funds of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, assigned in this matter.
