Budget Office

The Budget Office, attached to the Under-Secretariat, focuses its activities on:

• The economic study and report of the acts and provisions with economic-financial impact on the budgets of expenses and income.

• The determination of the structure of the programmes and subprogrammes in which the activity of the department is specified, the preparation and processing of the annual preliminary draft budget, the monitoring of the implementation of the budgetary appropriations and the processing of their modifications, as well as the monitoring of the degree of achievement of objectives with respect to the programmes and actions determined in the Annual Law on General State Budgets

• Budgetary management and economic-financial control of the actions of the budgetary services corresponding to the organs of the department.

• The analysis and coordination of how much financial resources the department has allocated.
