General Conference on University Policy

Without prejudice to the functions attributed to the university coordination bodies of the Autonomous Communities, the General Conference on University Policy (CGPU) is the body for the coordination, coordination and cooperation of general university policy, without prejudice to the functions attributed to the university coordination bodies of the Autonomous Communities, and aims to ensure the necessary coherence, coordination and collaboration between the General Administration of the State and that of the Autonomous Communities in matters of university policy.

The Conference is made up of the head of the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities that will chair it, those responsible for university education in the Governing Councils of the Autonomous Communities and five members appointed by the Presidency of the Conference.

According to its rules of procedure, the Conference shall have two Vice-Presidents and one Secretary.

This body will be able to meet both in plenary and in the delegated Commission.
