
In the field of Bioengineering, Biomaterials and Nanomedicine, the Centre for Biomedical Research Network (CIBER) is a consortium attached to the Carlos III Health Institute (Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities) founded in 2006 and organised into thirteen research areas. The CIBER-BBN area is currently made up of 44 research groups selected from all over Spain for their scientific excellence. Its aim is to conduct translational research in Bioengineering, Biomaterials and Nanomedicine and communicate the results to industry.
