Under-representation of women in STEM fields occurs especially in Engineering and Technology. Making visible and encouraging women’s entrepreneurship and the generation of new innovative capacities where they are on an equal footing is key to a future, in the digital age, more prosperous, green, fair and egalitarian.
Lines of action:
- dissemination of the contributions of technology-based innovators and entrepreneurs in the Spanish R&D&I system,
- visibility of projects co-led by women,
- fostering diversity of experiences and perspectives in innovation and
- Support for publications, exhibitions and didactic and informative materials that help reduce the traditional invisibility of women in science and technology.
