The service of recognition of signatures prior to legalizations, as well as the delivery of homologation credentials and equivalence certificates, will be suspended from 15 to 19 June 2026, inclusive.During this period, the office will remain closed.

Recognition of signatures and withdrawal of credentials

The service of recognition of signatures prior to legalizations and the delivery of homologation credentials and equivalence certificates is served in the offices of the Registry Assistance Office of the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities, at P.º de la Castellana 162 (28046 Madrid), with the following times:

  • Withdrawal of homologation credentials and equivalence certificates from Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 10:00 h., without the need for an appointment.
  • Recognition of signatures from Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 14:00 h. It is recommended to request a Prior Appointment.

REMEMBER:

  • You can only book an appointment for the same ID/Passport/NIE.

  • You can only carry out a maximum of five procedures for the recognition of a signature related to the person cited or represented.
