What is the National Register of Official University Graduates (RNTUO)?
It is the register where the universities register the data of the university graduates and where the university degrees that each person has obtained are recorded.
It also integrates the working data in the National Registry of Titles created by Royal Decree 1496/1987, of November 6.
What importance does it have?
The registration of a university degree in the RNTUO serves to verify that the data are correctly registered and that they correspond to the indicated person.
People who are in possession of an official university degree can:
- Carry out the consultation of your data
- Download a certificate of verification of your qualifications
- Authorize third parties to carry out the consultation and verify the veracity of the data of a certain title.
How to electronically consult or download a certificate of verification of my qualifications?
You can obtain a digital proof of your qualifications or authorize your consultation with third parties in the following ways:
- Citizen Folder (carpetaciudadana.gob.es)
- National Register of Official University Graduates (educacion.gob.es)
Verifying a title obtained as a downloaded document in Citizen Folder or E-Office is as simple as opening the document in any PDF client, or checking the associated verification code in Document Matching by CSV (sede.administracion.gob.es).
How can I authorize a third party to consult my university degrees?
To authorize third parties to consult their university degrees, you must access the “Authorizations” section of the RNTUO, where you can add all those that you consider appropriate. Once the authorization is generated, you can download a document in PDF format with a secure verification code (CSV). You can also download a QR code with the authorization you have generated.
What titles and documents can be consulted through the Electronic Office and/or My Citizen Folder?
In the RNTUO and in My Citizen Folder, you can consult both the official university degrees obtained in Spain, as well as the data related to the officially issued homologation and equivalence credentials.
