The Innvierte program aims to capitalize on technology-based companies for their development and subsequent consolidation. This program until 2016 has acted mainly through participation in venture capital investment vehicles. It is from 2019 when a new capitalization mechanism is established through co-investment, accompanying private investors. This new procedure is having a good reception in the investment environment that has allowed the program to capitalize on a significant number of Spanish companies in the new “new space”.
To the possibility of direct co-investment by private investors and the company Innvierte Economía Sustainable SME SIC in capital expansion operations in companies in the space sector, we must add the capitalization options that will be offered by the new transfer funds that the Innvierte program is in the formation phase. In total, the volume of public investment in companies linked to the space sector in the period 2021-2025 could reach the amount of 24 M € that would achieve a total investment mobilization close to 88 M €.
