LT3.A2.1: Technology transfer funds specialized in the field of bio-health, formed through the company Innvierte
The CDTI, under the INNVIERTE program, manages its participation in various venture capital investment funds that invest in technology-based or innovative companies in different sectors and stages of growth. One of them is Innvierte Science Tech Clave Innohealth. The objective of the fund is to address the different areas of this sector, investing mostly in health product companies (medtech) and to a lesser extent biotechnology, e-health and health-nutrition.

LT3.A2.2: AEI Transfer Projects
Within the generalist category of Transfer Projects financed by the AEI, there are different programs:
R&D&I projects in strategic lines, in public-private collaboration: The purpose of this call is to respond to the challenges identified in the thematic priorities, among which are several related to health. It is carried out through the financing of inter- and multidisciplinary projects in which scientific cooperation is constitutive and the overlap between disciplines at the methodological, conceptual or theoretical level is valued. It also aims to give impetus to the progress in the field of application to which the projects are directed, both in the scientific field and in technological development and innovation.

Projects in public-private collaboration: The objective of the call for grants for public-private partnership projects is to support experimental development projects in cooperation between companies and research bodies, in order to promote the development of new technologies, the business application of new ideas and techniques, and contribute to the creation of new products and services.
Calls for proposals:
Proof of concept: they aim to support the implementation of activities that allow progress in the early stages of pre-competitive development and facilitate the transfer or exploitation of results, in the form of products, goods, services or other applications, that are beneficial to the economy, society, culture or public policies. These grants are also intended to promote the entrepreneurial and innovative spirit of the research teams and to strengthen the strategies for the transfer of knowledge and results of the institutions benefiting from these projects.
