Investment
The PERTE Salud de Vanguardia began in 2021 a total investment of more than 1469.32 million euros in the period 2021-2023, with a public sector contribution of 982.44 million euros.
Since then, other actions have been incorporated with public funding for 396.42 M€, as well as the approval of the addendum of the PRTR in 2023, which has meant the inclusion of an additional 830 M€. In this update, PRTR-funded actions have been incorporated that contribute to PERTE’s Strategic Objectives or Transversal Lines for Avant-Garde Health. On the other hand, actions aligned with the objectives of the PERTE have been added that have been financed with General State Budgets or other funds. All in all, these new actions represent an additional public funding of 446.97 M€.
Therefore, as of the date of this executive summary, the PERTE for Avant-Garde Health has a total investment of 2868.46 € M€ of which 2505.46 M€ are of public investment.
Impact
It is estimated that globally the PERTE Salud de Vanguardia will generate a GDP contribution of up to 4335 million euros, and the creation of up to 12 688 new jobs.
From the point of view of health impacts, we aim for a minimum saving of 15% in disability-adjusted life years (DALY) on each of the pathologies linked to the actions of this PERTE, and a 30% decrease in interterritorial differences in healthy life years after 65 years.
