Luis Vega González. National Research Award "Julio Rey Pastor". Mathematics and Information and Communication Technologies

The Professor of the Department of Mathematics of the University of the Basque Country and Scientific Director of the Basque Centre of Applied Mathematics (BCAM), Luis Vega, has received the prize in this modality. The jury recognizes with this distinction the excellence of its research work and its applications to the study of harmonic analysis for dispersive differential equations, which have had a very unique scientific impact in the area of Mathematics.
