Ramón Martínez Máñez, Juan de la Cierva National Research Award in Knowledge Transfer
Ramón Martínez es catedrático en el Departament de Química de la Universitat Politècnica de València, en el Institut Interuniversitari d’Investigació de Reconoiximent Molecular i Desenvolupament Tecnològic (IDM, centre mixte UPV-UV).
It has been awarded for the impact of its scientific trajectory and its transfer in the field of chemistry and, specifically, of nanotechnology and its use in sensors for medical, environmental and agri-food applications.
The jury has valued the high number of patents obtained and licensed by the laureate. He has also highlighted the number of companies he has created, being one of them the first in the world focused on the development and marketing of senolitics.
