Centre for Networked Biomedical Research in Neurodegenerative Diseases (CIBERNED)

The Centre for Networked Biomedical Research in Neurodegenerative Diseases (CIBERNED) was founded in 2006 under the sponsorship of the Carlos III Health Institute (ISCIII). Its objective is to promote and strengthen research excellence in neurodegenerative diseases through a network research structure.

As well as the ISCIII, the consortium also includes the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), institutions from practically all the Spanish autonomous communities, and centres and institutions not attached to the public administration.
