The NMR laboratory Manuel Rico is located in the Institute of Physical Chemistry Rocasolano of the CSIC. It began its activity in 1964 when it acquired its first NMR spectrometer and has continued uninterrupted to this day.
Its main area of activity is structural biology with a special focus on the interactions between chemistry and biology. The Laboratory benefits from being located on the CSIC IFQR so it remains in close collaboration with research groups on the structure and dynamics of proteins and nucleic acids.
It is equipped with advanced equipment in the field of structural biology. It is worth highlighting the work in the training and support of MRI techniques carried out for the Spanish scientific community in the public and private spheres.
