The Manuel Rico NMR laboratory is located at the CSIC Rocasolano Institute of Physical Chemistry (IFQR). It was founded in 1964 with the acquisition of its first NMR spectrometer and has remained in operation ever since.
Its main field of activity is structural biology, with a particular focus on interactions between chemistry and biology. Thanks to being located at the IFQR of the CSIC, the laboratory collaborates closely with research groups working on the structure and dynamics of proteins and nucleic acids.
It features state-of-the-art equipment in the field of structural biology. Notably, it offers training and support for NMR techniques to the Spanish scientific community in the public and private sectors.
