The Euskadi MRI Laboratory is located in the Centre for Cooperative Research in Biosciences - CIC bioGUNE, in the Technological Park of Biscay.
His activity focuses on exploring the interfaces between chemistry and biomedicine, with an emphasis on structural, molecular and cellular biology. It is equipped with advanced instrumentation that allows the incorporation of the most recent experiments, as well as the most advanced techniques of acquisition and spectral processing. It also has a large number of probes that allow a wide range of experiments, including the interaction between biomolecule ligands, the screening of compounds for the pharmaceutical industry and the analysis of alternative nuclei such as fluoride or selenium.
The equipment is adapted to work in conditions of high salinity. The facilities have recently been improved by creating a laboratory dedicated to the metabolic analysis of samples.
