The mission of the Advanced Microscopy Laboratory (LMA) is to offer the scientific community and industrial users – both in the national and international context – state-of-the-art scientific-technological facilities in the fields of electronic microscopy, local probe and nanofabrication, which allow the observation, characterization and manipulation of materials on the atomic and molecular scale.
