The Cibeles node is hosted by the Scientific Computing Center (CCC-UAM) which provides centralized computing support to the Campus of the Autonomous University of Madrid.

Computer resources are available to all campus members, covering a wide range of disciplines, and offering computer hosting services along with systems management.  

The main objective of the CCC-UAM is to offer computing capacity to all scientific disciplines (Materials Chemistry, Physics, Economics, Biology, etc.). whose productivity can benefit from mass computing.
