Should a fee be paid on the application for approval or declaration of equivalence?

Yes, when applying for approval or declaration of equivalence, a fee of 166.50 euros must be paid.

What payment options do you have?

You have three payment options:

  • Payment with charge to your card or bank account.
  • Payment via Model 790-107.
  • Payment abroad through income or transfer.
Payment charged to your card or bank account

Select this option while completing the application at the e-site. It is necessary to have a NIF/CIF/NIE and have been identified by Cl@ve (clave.gob.es).

If another person submits the application on behalf, he must meet the following two requirements in order to be able to pay the fee in this way:

  • The representative has been identified through Cl@ve and the representative also has NIF/CIF/NIE.
  • El apoderamiento se ha otorgado a través del Registro Electrónico de Apoderamientos. It will not be enough with the contribution of the document certifying the representation.
Payment via Model 790-107

Make the payment of the 107 fee in person at a collaborating entity by printing the Model 790:

You can also make the payment through the Internet if you have an account or card of one of the collaborating entities.

Important:

  • It is very important to fill in these models with the applicant's data regardless of who makes the payment.
  • The proof of payment must be attached to the request in the payment option “attach proof”.
Payment abroad by income or transfer

You must make an income or transfer in favor of the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities in the foreign tax collection account:

IBAN: ES16 9000 0001 2002 5310 8022
BIC: ESPBESMMXXX
DOMICILE: Calle de Alcalá, 48, 28014 Madrid (Spain)

The transfer costs or any other bank commission will be at the expense of the interested party and may not reduce the amount of the fee.

Please note that if someone else pays the fee on your behalf, it is necessary to indicate in the concept of the transfer the name and surname of the applicant, as well as the identity document number with which the application was opened.

Remember that in the application you must attach the proof in the payment option “attach proof”.

Return of Improper Income

If the application is inadmissible, expired or denied, the fee will not be refunded.

Returns will only be made in case of duplicate payments made by mistake through the telematic payment gateway.

You can do this in the Request for Refund of Fees for Improper Income (universidades.sede.gob.es).
