The QEDU is an application that aims to make it easier for students to decide what to study and where in the university. To this end, it provides a set of indicators that provide relevant information on the studies offered by Spanish universities.
The data have been extracted from the Register of Universities, Centers and Degrees and the Integrated University Information System. The information available should be considered exclusively for information and guidance purposes.
The degrees available in this application are Official Studies that have been verified by the Council of Universities and joint programming thereof (own degrees are not included).
For students of foreign origin it is recommended to consult in Study in Spain (sepie.es).
.
SEARCH FOR TITLES
.
From the QEDU you can access information on all the degrees offered of Degree, Master and Doctorate in Spanish universities, both public and private.
The search must be performed by:
- Keyword: The application will show all the titles that contain that word in its denomination.
- Field of study: The application will show all the degrees that are classified in the fields of study that you have selected.
Remember that you can look for degrees of any academic level: Degree, Double Degree, Master's Degree, Double Master's Degree and Doctorate.
After the search, you can apply filters to adjust your search:
- Characteristics of the degrees.
- The university or the type of university.
- Or by the geographical area of the center where the degrees are taught.
Once you have found the qualifications you are interested in, you can:
- Visualize the cards with the main information of the degrees
- Download the list of titles shown by clicking on the download icons (xlsx or csv).
- Or expand the information of any degree that is shown by clicking on the card that interests you.
For each degree, the following information is provided:
- General information related to the degree, the center, the university, enrollment data and court notes.
- Information so you can compare the performance of your profile with the overall performance of students in the area of the selected degree (for Bachelor's Degree only).
- Information on the labor insertion of the degree and comparative data by field of study and of the group of graduates (only for Degree and Master).
.
LIKELY PERFORMANCE
.
It allows to compare the performance of a certain profile (according to the variables: expected admission note, access method and sex) with the performance of the average of the students of the field of study.
Performance is the percentage of approved credits compared to credits enrolled by students in the field of study. A value of 100% indicates that all students pass all the subjects enrolled.

LABOUR INSERTION: INDICATORS OF SOCIAL SECURITY MEMBERSHIP
.
This data is generated from two sources of information: The Integrated University Information System (SIIU) managed by the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities, with the close collaboration of all universities and autonomous communities and the General Treasury of Social Security of the Ministry of Inclusion, Social Security and Migration from where the working life of each of the graduates is obtained.
Therefore, the graduates who are discharged from work in Social Security are analyzed, using as a methodological criterion a transversal analysis of the cohort of graduates 4 years ago, taking as a reference the Social Security data of the month of March of the last year available.
It should be noted that these affiliation rates do not correspond to the employment rates, since this study only analyzes university students affiliated to the Social Security, either in a general regime or in a special regime of self-employed workers.
The following are not included in this study:
- University graduates who exercise their profession as self-employed and who are affiliated to a mutuality of their professional college, as is the case of architects, some law graduates who exercise the liberal profession and certain engineering specialties.
- University graduates who work in a foreign country and are therefore not affiliated to Social Security in Spain.
- Officials who have acceded to the Public Administration before 2011 who will be affiliated to MUFACE or those who are affiliated to ISFAS. However, it should be said that from 2011 all those who have acceded to the Public Administration are affiliated to the Social Security in terms of pensions. Therefore, the university graduates who are analyzed in this study, from the 2009-2010 academic year, if they have acceded from 2011 to the Public Administration are included in the study. There are not, however, those who are officials before that date, that is, before the end of the studies.
The calculated indicators are as follows:
- Affiliation rate: percentage of university graduates who are in high school in Social Security
- Porcentaje de autónomos: porcentaje de egresados universitarios que pertenecen al régimen especial de autónomos. This indicator measures what percentage of university graduates who are in high employment are in the self-employed regime.
- Percentage of indefinite hires: percentage of university graduates affiliated to Social Security on behalf of others with an indefinite contract
- Percentage with university level contribution group: percentage of university graduates affiliated to Social Security in a contribution group according to their studies (engineers, graduates, senior management, graduates and technical engineers). The self-employed are included in this group.
- Average base of quotation:Annual average of the social security contribution base of graduates who are affiliated during one day of the month of March on behalf of others with a full-time contract.
It is important to highlight that the information by field of study gathers the entire population of graduates 4 years ago, but only results of those active degrees are shown at the time when the data were updated and whose code has not changed.
