The Spanish Strategy for Science, Technology and Innovation 2021-2027, approved in September 2020, is the instrument of general coordination of the policies in scientific and technical research and innovation of the State and the Autonomous Communities, and of these with the policies of the Union. To improve the effectiveness of policies to support research and innovation, the Information System on Science, Technology and Innovation will be improved, through the advanced development of artificial intelligence techniques that allow the interconnection of information systems dedicated to R+D+I and the generation of useful indicators for decision-making and public policy coordination.
