Miguel Ángel Martínez González. National Research Award "Gregorio Marañón" in the area of medicine and health sciences
Miguel Ángel Martínez-González has been recognized with a National Research Award in the area of Medicine and Health Sciences for his unique contributions on the relevance of nutrition in preventive medicine and, in particular, of the Mediterranean diet, as well as on behavioral intervention to change lifestyles.
Martínez-González is Professor of Public Health at the University of Navarra and Assistant Professor of Nutrition at Harvard University. He runs his group CIBEROBN and has more than 30 years of experience in epidemiological research.
