Tomás Torres Cebada, Enrique Moles National Research Award in Chemical Science and Technology

Tomás Torres is Professor Emeritus of the Department of Organic Chemistry of the Autonomous University of Madrid (UAM) and Senior Associate Scientist of the IMDEA Nanoscience Institute.

He has been awarded for his high-level contributions in the field of new molecular materials in emerging technological areas, internationally recognized for the quality and originality of his research, leading pioneering projects in the field of solar cells that have managed to break the limits of knowledge, addressing social challenges such as photovoltaic energy and nanomedicine.
