For combining innovation and international leadership in a traditional field as important for the Spanish economy as the livestock farmer, achieving a position of international leadership in the artificial insemination of pigs. Their firm commitment to investment in R+D+I has allowed them to put their own product in the most demanding markets, which they develop and improve thanks to the implementation of collaborative projects in Spain and internationally, which in turn generate important intangible assets between brands, patents and utility models. The jury highlighted the value of Magabé in tackling economic, health and social challenges in traditional sectors and its commitment to knowledge transfer.
