WDC Valencia 2022 will have a direct benefit on the national population in terms of sustainability, education, culture and mobility and will contribute to social and economic development.

WDC Valencia 2022 support event

In July 2020, Tinglado 2 in the Marina of Valencia hosted a public event at which the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities, the Valencian Regional Government and the City Council of Valencia showed their strong public support for Valencian design.

The event recognised all the professionals and companies from the Valencian Community that have received these awards since their inception in 1987.

This event served as a prelude to the 2019 National Innovation and Design Awards, held at the Museu de les Ciències in the presence of the King and Queen of Spain and the former Minister of Science and Innovation, Pedro Duque.
