DIANA MORANT
Born in Gandia (Valencia) in 1980, she studied Telecommunications Engineering at the Universitat Politècnica de València.
Currently, she is Minister of Science, Innovation and Universities, and General Secretary of the PSPV-PSOE. Since October 2021, she belongs to the executive of the PSOE as Secretary of Science, Innovation and Universities.
She held the position of Minister of Science and Innovation from 2021 to November 2023.
She was a deputy for Valencia in the Congress of Deputies from August 17, 2023 to December 6, 2023.
She has been mayor of Gandia for the PSPV-PSOE (2015-2021), councilor in the City of Gandia (2011-2015) and deputy in the Provincial Council of Valencia (2015-2017).
He was a member of the Consell de Turisme de la Generalitat Valenciana from June 2015 to September 2021 and has belonged to the Territorial Council of the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP).
He was also part of the Board of Directors of the Port Authority of Valencia from January 2020 to July 2021.
He has been a member of the decision-making body of the Spain Convention Bureau from June 2016 to May 2019.
She was also General Secretary of the PSPV-PSOE of Gandia from June 2014 to May 2022.
